| "Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage" (Anais Nin) |
Loren has been in private practice for the past 20 years working
with individuals, families and couples helping them to enhance their lives and relationships. Married for 22 years, and a
mother of 2, Loren truly understands what it takes to balance work and family life and deal with the stresses of raising a
family in today's world. Loren's workshops and seminars have been widely presented to fortune 500 companies
in New York and New Jersey, on topics of Stress Management, Parenting, Self-Empowerment, Anger Management, Forgiveness, and
Coping with Change as well as other life issue topics.
Loren truly believes that everyone's real self worth
comes from within, and can be achieved by learning how to nurture, respect, and fully care for oneself and not wait for
the messages to come from the outside. Practicing the care and respect for ourselves is the work we all must do in order to
feel healthier and stronger and more authentic. Working with people to help them to overcome their insecurities
and fears has become Loren's life's work.
Loren received her Master's Degree in Social Work from
Columbia University and worked for many years in a variety of health care settings. After becoming certified in hypnotherapy
in 1998, Loren's practice expanded to include deeper inner work to help heal past traumas and hurts. Recognizing that
so much of our behaviors are deeply imbedded in habits we developed early in life, her practice also expanded to include neurofeedback.
In this way each individual is able to do both emotional healing and reframing of actual brain activity. Loren brings
to bear her many years of experience with a variety of both traditional and eclectic techniques to work in helping each person
achieve his or her greatest emotional and psychological potential.
Our lives present us with numerous challenges.
Learning to see these challenges as opportunities for change and growth is a huge step in moving out of feeling stuck
in dysfunctional patterns and habits that have kept us locked in non-productive behaviors. Every journey must start
with that first step, and taking the step to contact Well Within is a most positive and significant
one.
